This is a session for: - Home users wanting to up the quality of their coffee output - People with no coffee experience who want to become very employable as an allrounder/barista As a former barista trainer for a leading Sydney coffee roaster & now a cafe operator, Pete is in a unique position to know exactly what cafe owners are looking for when hiring a barista. This is not a group lesson. It is a tailored session where we can focus on your particular barista weaknesses and turn them into strengths. What will you learn? - How to make coffee shots properly - How to make foam - How to make thick milk which gives a velvety mouthfeel (this is different to foam. It is important for any kind of milk coffee & will help your coffee stand out from everyone else's) - Workflow skills to help you make great coffee efficiently Do you need experience? No, you don't need any coffee experience for this session. Even if you have no coffee making knowledge, by the end of this session you will be making coffee that will impress a potential employer hiring for the position of barista/allrounder. What equipment will you learn on? Fully commercial LaMarzocco Linea PB & Mazzer Grinder All coffee beans & milk used are included in the price When? Currently we offer 4 sessions per week: Weds 1pm-3pm Fri 1pm-3pm Sat 9am-11am Sat 1pm-3pm Where? 61-65 Regent St Chippendale (5 min walk from central station). Street parking is available.
